The Constitution is the most important document in the United States. It establishes the American government and our position as a democracy. The Constitution also lays out our freedoms as Americans. The U.S. Constitution was signed in 1787, and it has been the basis of other democracies around the world. The Constitution is also known as a "living document" because it grows and changes as America and its people grow and change.

Parents -
PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal access will open K-6 on
Tuesday, August 14th, at approximately 10:00 a.m. At that time, you will be able to access your child’s account for transportation and class information. Thanks for your patience as all schools finalize student schedules for 2018-2019.

Passwords for Grades 1-3 students have changed. Kindergarten and New Student Passwords should be generated tonight at some point. An announcement will be made here and on the website regarding when all passwords for Kindergarten and New Students have been generated.
There was a glitch with the new password system and they are working hard to correct it. On Monday, teachers will receive a document for each student that will include Student Username; Password; Email; PowerSchool Access ID and Password to create parent account; and Schoology Join Code to create a parent account.
If you already have access to your PowerSchool Parent Account, you can log into your account and click on Other Apps for Guardians. There are the following:
-
You can see your Schoology join code in case you still need to create a parent Schoology account or if another parent wants to create a separate account to the same child.
-
You can also see a link to the Update in order to update information. The username and password are listed as well (it is the same as the Access ID and Password to create a Parent PowerSchool Account). Please remember that if you have more than one child, you would need to do the Update for each child.
-
The last item in that screen is the student ID#/Username, Password and their Email. Students can’t send or receive Email from Google in K-3. However, the Email is needed for them to use the G-Suite and to log into certain applications like Schoology.
Please Email me at skocher@nazarethasd.org if you have any questions or need information. Make sure to include your child’s full name and what building they are attending. If you have children in more than one school (Grades 4-12) but have the same question or need, I can help you with both children.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make logging in easier for all of our K-3 students.

PARENTS SURVEY--PLEASE TAKE!
Dear Parents,
We are partnering with BrightBytes, an educational research organization, in order to learn more about our students’ school and home technology use for learning. We are reaching out to ask you to take part in our school questionnaire. Your participation is essential in helping us form a more complete picture of technology use for learning in our students’ lives. This will be done through a comprehensive framework called CASE that looks at the Classroom factors, Access to technology, Teacher and Student Skills and Environmental factors. This information has been very helpful to us to support our students and teachers in technology integration.
Please know that all of your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy and they will help your child's school choose the right technology for their classrooms. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
The last day to complete this questionnaire is October 4, 2019. Please go to http://www.bbyt.es/JT7MP
Thank you for taking part in this important initiative!
